Well made and just the right settings

I really like the app. Used it before on the Internet. But Id like the app to stop when I unplug my earphones. Just like it does with normal music.

Oscillation does not work properly since iOS7. Noone seems to update this app anymore. Like this, not worth the money.

Great app - totally zoned out while listening to pink noise and had a great nap. However, there seems to be a bug with the countdown timer. No matter what length of time is set, the sound goes quiet after a couple of minutes if the iPod is put to sleep (Im on iOS4), or if the app is left running in the background. This only happens when the timer is engaged. Also, theres no way to quit the app - you have to either rely on the timer (which is not working as it should), or kill the app in the dock. Other than that, its great - if these couple of things are fixed, itd be a five-star: simple, effective, and totally worth it.

Helped me focus on prgramming for the first time. Couldnt recommend it enough.

This is a great app for me when I go to sleep. It makes my brain mellow out and I drift into sleep. Its also very simple so its easy to pick your sound and set up a sleep timer. My favourite is putting the brown noise really loud and oscillate. My only complaint is they should put different levels of oscillation like there is on the website. Its too fast for my liking. Other than that, its worth a dollar but it could probably be free

I have tinnitus and its a good sleep aid.

The online version is a lifesaver in a cubicle world. Looking forward to carrying this with me on business travel.

I live on a bus route and in an old creaky house that is filled with lots of noises at night. I was desperate to fall asleep and went online to find something to drown out the noises and came across Simply Noise. I used it and fell asleep in minutes and now use this app for naps and for great sleep every night! It also makes it much easier to fall back asleep after tending to a wound up dog, a hungry baby or a full bladder.

I found the Simply Noise website when I was looking for natural insomnia solutions online and I fell in love with their pink and brown noise with oscillation. But how, oh how, was I going to take it to bed with me? Well, I have to say this app was one of the reasons I bought an iPod Touch! Now I can take the sleepy noise to bed with me to sooth me to sleep. The only thing Id like to see is the variable oscillation included on the app that is on the website. I can only seem to get one kind of oscillation in the app. Thanks for making this!

Wonderful app. Does what it says and more. Would like to see oscillation adjustment. Also please improve the look of the icon. Overall a magical thing to have.

You cant find a better way to put yourself to sleep, especially for those under stress from exams, midterms or otherwise.

Really just wasted a lonnie, this app should be free, it has little features and was hastily programed.

Ill start by saying I never really thought about white noise that much. I did see the movie White Noise and that kind of scared me away from it for away lol. Recently however I was watching a documentary about stress and one of the suggestions was white noise machines. For some reasom it perked my interest and I looked up online for free white noise and immediatly came across their site. I was so impressed with it! I saw the convience of having it on my ipod right away so I HAD TO HAVE IT! Because when i was listening to it on their site i closed my eyes and tried to see if I could hear anything in the noise. Anything at all. All I heard was NOTHING! I cant tell you how realiving that was! FINALLY I COULD HEARD NOTHING! My mind felt so free. It could go anywhere! Anything I wanted to imagine came easily and readily like a movie in my minds eyes. Unfortunatly i wasnt using headphones and was interuppted by my neighbour making a loud noise. So Im so happy that i can use this portably on my noise canceling headphones!!!

A decent app for a buck. Soothing sounds are pretty good for helping keep focus during reading sessions!

Ear plugs never worked for me to drown out external noise when trying to sleep. This app does a fantastic job. Also helps me get to sleep when Im agitated or restless. Soothing, like Im lying beside a waterfall or rushing stream. Much improved sleep for $.99 - one of the best apps Ive bought this year.

I used to love this app. Turned it on every night to sleep. Just updated and now it doesnt work when docked. It is now completely useless to me. I have to go download another white noise app to sleep tonight.

Installed the update and the program no longer works when I dock my iPod. I have been using this app every day and am really upset that it no longer works like it used to. Please fix this!

Love this app for on the bus when Im trying to read, and its also tops at home for studying. Are you folks planning to make a simply rain app? Because I would buy the hell out of that.

Love the app, but since the update, it doesnt work when my iPad is docked. Fix that and you have a five star rating.
